Yes. Our Scan to CAD service combines a Geo Scan site survey with registration, drawing production and checking. The survey extent and CAD drawing schedule are agreed together before capture.

What drawings can Scan to CAD include?

Floor plans, internal and external elevations, and sections are common outputs. Roof plans, reflected ceiling plans, site plans or area schedules can be scoped where needed and where the survey supports them. The quotation defines the drawing set rather than assuming every output is included.

Which CAD files and standards can you work to?

DWG and PDF are the usual drawing outputs. Send your required DWG version, CAD template, layer conventions, units and title block at the outset. We confirm compatibility and any adjustments before drafting.

Is point cloud to CAD conversion automatic?

Measured drawings require interpretation of the registered data against the brief. Drafting and checking are needed to decide how visible geometry, irregularities and drawing conventions should be represented. A point cloud alone does not define a finished drawing specification.

How accurate are the finished CAD drawings?
