Agree the rooms and any sampling basis, coordinate access with hotel operations and record relevant corridor and floor-level relationships.
Room plans and sections give the interior designer a measured starting point, with unsurveyed rooms distinguished from verified coverage.
Coordinate guest-room availability, housekeeping, kitchen operations and quiet periods. Sampling of repeated rooms needs a written agreement; representative layouts cannot confirm every room’s dimensions.
The survey does not assess room condition, food safety, fire compliance or the capacity of existing services. These require the appropriate specialist advice.
